Photoshop transparent background tutorial
First of all, we will use pen tool. Because, it is the most effective tool for background change. Whether the background is solid color on multicolor or overload with complexity, pen tool works everywhere. If anyone knows how to use it perfectly, they can easily create transparent background.
Using pen tool
Open image in Photoshop. No matter which version you use now, this technique works for all versions in Photoshop. After that, create a layer path. If you don’t see it in right side, click on Windows menu. You will find path in here. Just check mark in it. Then select pen tool. You will find it in left side menu Platte. Before creating path, zoom your photos 200%-300%. It will help you doing the work easily. It is advisable to select one or two pixels inside image for creating outline.
After completing the outline creation perfectly, make selection of the image. To do this, select path layer and press right button of your mouse. Then select make selection. A popup will show in front of you. You may select feather radius up to .5. However, it depends on image resolution. For higher resolution image, you may keep it higher. For lower resolution image keep it. 2. Then click ok. Copy the layer. For Windows use control + j and for Mac use command + j button. Delete the existing layer. Now your transparent background image is ready.
If the background of your photograph contains a solid color, this tool will work perfectly. Just open your image in Photoshop. Unlock layer. You can simply do this by double click on the layer. After that, click ok. Now, select a magic wand tool from the left side tool Platte. Paste it in your background. It will automatically select all solid colors portion. Inverse the selective portion. To do this, press (shift+ctrl+I). You can also do this manually. Go select menu option and select inverse. Next copy the layer pressing (ctrl+j). Your transparent background image is ready.
